The BCGBA held their Annual Meeting at Winnington Park Recreation Club with the morning session utilised to consider the Notices of Motion and the afternoon session for the election of President and Deputy President and the transaction of business from the ensuing season.

All Notices of Motion were successful, with exception of Proposal 5 which was withdrawn.

As a result, all Officers of the Association now receive a vote at the Annual Meeting, the word ‘sandals’ has been removed from the footwear rule, the Isle of Man will once again be able to enter the Senior Supplementary County Championship, and a number of competition rules were amended. The results of the voting can be viewed and/or downloaded via the link below.

Ken Howarth (Cumbria) was elected as President with David Williams (Greater Manchester) elected Deputy President.

The 2020 BCGBA Annual Meeting takes place a Winnington Park Recreation Club, Northwich, on Saturday 18th January.  The morning session is for the consideration of rules with the afternoon session for the election of the President and Deputy President.  Each County Association is entitled to four representatives, each with voting power, in addition to their Management Committee representative.  It requires a two-thirds majority of those voting for a rule to be changed.  You can download a copy of the Notices of Motion below.  The results will be posted following the conclusion of the meeting.
