The 2026 Competition:
The Beginners Open Championship is a new initiative with the aim to cater for all levels of the sport. Unfortunately in 2025, the first year of the event, the finals day was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Eligibility requires any participant to be a new BCGBA member. See the competition rules for more details.
The 2026 finals day venue is yet to be set, but is scheduled for Saturday 19th September, beginning at 10.00am.
Results will appear here on the day. Qualifying may be found on each counties website. See – Regional Information
